Get A Better Tax Return Next Year!

Tax season never really ends for us.  Your tax situation is an ongoing thing and that means you need to plan.  Failing to plan could mean a tax bill to either the Federal or State governments next year.  Here are some things to watch out for.

Changing jobs – Are you starting a new job and are looking for help filling out  W-4 forms for withholding?   EG Tax offers this service at no charge.  Not filing this form correctly can result in a tax bill at the end of the year.  Let us help.

Retirement – Whether you receive a monthly pension or just social security, you could owe money if you don’t have enough tax withheld.  At EG Tax, we can help you plan ahead as you reach retirement age.  And again, there is no charge for this service.

Getting Married – This is an exciting time in your life.  Tax planning can save you money.  Do either or both of you own a home?  Are you both paying back student loans?  Are either of you retired and receiving social security?  At EG tax we will sit down with you at no charge and go over your tax future as husband and wife.

Having a Baby - If you had a baby during the year you may receive the Child Tax Credit and/or the Additional Child Tax Credit.  If your baby went to day care you may qualify for the Dependent Care Credit for both the Federal and State returns.

Investments – The market is always changing, and when your investments make money you have to be prepared.  EG tax can show you how your investments can change your tax return for 2016.  At EG Tax we do not charge for this consultation.

Healthcare – We are currently helping individuals sign up for health insurance.  Also, with the implementation of the Affordable Healthcare Act, there are many taxpayers that could be hit with a penalty or additional taxes.

At EG Tax you will notice that we provide a great deal of services all through the year.  We are here to help you any way that we can.  Should you need our assistance, please call our corporate office at 716-632-7886 to schedule an appointment today.
